A Hint of What’s to Come
I woke up last night to the pounding of rain on the roof and watch as it continues out side my window at 11:00 in the morning. The streets of our little neighborhood were flooded and our departing van was greeting by the slight of Foon sloshing up the street, his feet buried up to his ankles in rushing water. I began to question my timing for a June – July trek, but was relieved a bit as I read in various places on line this morning that “the rainy season is a good time to travel in Southeast Asia” because the rains “usually only last an hour or two in the afternoons” and “there are less tourists” and “the accommodations are more affordable”. I hope this is not just the tourism bureau’s way of getting tourists out to spend their money in a time when the locals are all safely, dryly, tucked away in their homes.

I finally got back on. I was misspelling the site.
I am so jealous of your massage. I would easily pay much more for that experiance.
